All too soon she realizes that she has to face the harsh realities of life. "Fateful Encounter at Colonial Brick Motel" after a particularly nasty beating a hysterical Dorothy flees from her abusive husband.
She takes refuge at the Colonial Brick Motel where she finds sanctuary and shares a night with a kindred spirit. The next morning her drunken husband stumbles into her room demanding Dorothy's immediate return home. After attempting to attack Dorothy, he realizes far too late that he should have just left well enough alone. "Dark Adventures at Wash and Spin Laundromat" for the past six years Alice has spent every Friday night at the Wash and Spin Laundromat.
Her night starts out as usual until a monstrous man attacks. Alice soon realizes that her luck has finally run out. "Fates Plaything" Alice always knew she was a bit different. With odd dreams and abilities, she tries to live a semi-normal life. All that changes when she stumbles upon a bizarre book at her local library. Alice soon realizes that some things are set in stone.
